Telehealth enablement project & clinical pilot programmes

  • Directly managed the deployment of Telehealth endpoints and Cisco Jabber into five hospitals, engaging with 50+ services and establishing Telehealth outpatient services with 14+ clinical specialties, in addition to encouraging the adoption of video-based communications for clinical, non-clinical and educational purposes, more than doubling the use of video minutes within the organisation within the first 12 months after go-live.
  • Served as a member of the Midlands Telehealth Advisory Group, and was part of the team reviewing the Western Australia County Health Service Telehealth operations, to inform the expansion of Telehealth acute services in the Waikato and Midlands region.
  • Led and implemented several technology-enabled clinical pilot programmes, including Telestroke hyper-acute specialist support services within the Midlands region, a suite of Telehealth-enabled Neurological assessments for remote outpatients (nurse-assisted), and Expedited Triage for Suspected Skin Cancer referrals using BPAC with primary care providers in the region.
