Online Shared Services Development

  • Managed a $2.2M NZD programme of work to implement 37 Online Shared Services for Hamilton City Council in partnership with Rotorua District Council. This project significantly reduced manual paper workflows, transcription errors and saved processing costs by bringing core service offerings into an 24/7 online portal accessible from businesses and resident’s homes and mobile devices.
  • During the projects I mentored junior Project Managers from both Hamilton City Council and Rotorua District Council.
  • Under the shared service partnership, I was the lead Project Manager across both Councils. This programme of work included:
    • Migration of the Council Intranets and external Websites from a legacy platform to a new Sharepoint 2013 based solution.
    • Online services product development and deployment, working with an Auckland-based vendor.
